Microsoft have released a security advisory on the 15th of September 2021 in line with their regular monthly patch schedule which includes a number of updates to address critical vulnerabilities.

Multiple vulnerabilities were identified in Google Chrome, a remote attacker could exploit some of these vulnerabilities to trigger remote code execution, denial of service condition and security restriction bypass on the targeted system.

Apple has released security updates to address vulnerabilities—CVE-2021-30858 and CVE-2021-30860—in multiple products. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities to take control of an affected device

Microsoft recently released a privilege escalation vulnerability dubbed “HiveNightmare”. HiveNightmare affects Windows platform and grants read privileges to non-administrative users accessing system32/config files.
